George E. Nordgren

As President and Founder of Nordco, Inc. Energy Systems, George E. Nordgren has over 34 years' experience in energy conservation; with emphasis on lighting upgrade/retrofits. Among Mr. Nordgren's special accomplishments: Governor's appointee and founding member of the Texas Energy Council and helped to install the first solar energy system in the state of Texas. Designed and invented current technologies in energy conservation/efficient lighting systems available on the market today. Prior to 1974 Mr. Nordgren played professional football for the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. He studied business management and played football at the University of Houston. He is listed in the game Trivial Pursuit Q&A as “scored the first touchdown in the Astrodome”.




Cinda C. Dykeman
Executive Vice President

As Executive Vice President, Cinda Dykeman is responsible for finance, accounting, legal and all company personnel matters for Nordco.  Over her 15-year career with Nordco, Ms. Dykeman has held leadership positions in finance, accounting and sales support. Prior to joining Nordco in 1993, she was the Vice President of Elite Modeling. Prior to this she worked in public relations, insurance, restaurant management and banking.  Ms. Dykeman holds a BBA (Management) from University of Texas at Arlington.




Matt Nordgren

Matthew Nordgren is responsible for consulting and advising on all areas of the day-to-day workings for Nordco. Before joining the Nordco team, Matthew worked with companies including Texas Home Improvement, Lincoln Property, Capital Sports & Entertainment, Calico Capital Management LLC., and Schlegel Sports. Prior to his business career he was the top high school quarterback in Texas and had over 21 NCAA scholarship offers before deciding to attend The University of Texas. Mr. Nordgren was the first person in NCAA University of Texas Football history by graduating with two degrees in 3 ½ years while maintaining high honors, Dean's List and lettering in football. He spent the last year of his college football career in graduate school at Texas studying in the field of Sports Management before heading off to play professional ball. He has played with the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles. Currently, Matthew is working on his MBA at the University of Dallas.



Randy Whitney
Vice President, Operations

As V.P. of Operations for Nordco, Randy Whitney acts as our Project Manager; overseeing all energy project logistics from beginning to end. Randy has over 20 years experience in construction project management, retail management and sales. Prior to Nordco Mr. Whitney acted as Project Manager, General Contractor and Managing Partner for other Fortune 500 companies.




Dusty Jarnagin
Operations Manager

As Operations Manager, Dusty oversees projects from the initial energy audit, all the way through to completion of the project. Dusty has spent a number of years proudly serving our country in the military. After fulfilling his duties, he gained experience in the service automotive industry before joining Nordco in 2009.




Michael R. Walker, LC
Lighting Consultant

As a  certified lighting consultant for Nordco, Mike has been involved with our company for over 16 years, in both internal computer hardware and software resource projects, with EMS projects, and with lighting retrofit projects.  He holds the NCQLP L.C. certification and is familiar with all phases of lighting projects from audit to  commissioning.  He is an authorized EPA Green Lights Surveyor Ally.  He has expertise in implementing Direct Digital Control Systems for building HVAC management.  Mike is also President and founder of Microtech Systems, Inc., an Austin-based computer software development and consulting company, and Stonemark Builders, Inc, a residential construction company.  Mr. Walker has an MS (Operations Research) from the University of North Carolina and a BA and MS (Economics) from Texas A&M University.
